The music video for 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by Queen made it to the 100 Greatest Music Videos and ranked at number 4. The main reason for the band making this promotional video was that they had reached the top of the charts for such a long period of time that they did not want to keep appearing on 'Top Of The Pops' each and every week. Being top of the charts was good but it also meant they couldn't go touring, so they came up with this idea of using a simple video of them singing the song that they could play on TOTP. It has been said that this video was the big launching of MTV.
